Decide on Jordan Pass

If you plan to stay in Jordan for at least 3 consecutive nights and visit Petra, buy the Jordan Pass online before your trip.

Alternatively, e-Visa or VOA

If you don't buy the Jordan Pass, you can apply for an e-Visa through the MoI portal, or simply get a Visa on Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport.

Proceed to the immigration counters. Present your Jordan Pass (printed or digital), or pay the visa fee (40 JOD) for the Visa on Arrival.

Entry Clearance

The immigration officer will stamp your passport with the visa.

—Jordan Pass (optional, but highly recommended for tourists)
—Round-trip flight ticket
—Proof of accommodation in Jordan

•The Jordan Pass is a massive money-saver. A single entry visa is 40 JOD, and a 1-day Petra ticket is 50 JOD (total 90 JOD). The Jordan Pass 'Wanderer' tier covers both for 70 JOD.
•Visa on arrival is generally straightforward for Chinese citizens arriving by air. However, rules at land borders (like the King Hussein Bridge) differ, so check beforehand if entering from Israel/Palestine.
•Ensure your passport does NOT contain Israeli stamps or evidence of travel to Israel if you plan to visit other certain Arab nations afterward, though Jordan itself maintains diplomatic relations with Israel.
