Step-by-Step Application Process
Complete Application Form
Fill out the online Schengen visa application form on the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) Application Portal and pay the application fee online.
Book an Appointment
After paying online, you will be directed to VFS Global to book an appointment at the nearest Norway Visa Application Centre in China.
Attend the Appointment
Submit your printed application, passport, and supporting documents in person at VFS Global. Biometrics (fingerprints and photo) will be collected if not done recently.
Application Processing
VFS forwards your application to the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing for processing. This usually takes around 15 days.
Collect Passport
Track your application status. Once ready, collect your passport from the VFS center or have it delivered by courier.
